Li'l Rainbow

This was originally a snapshot I'd taken with my webcam, but I toyed around with it in Photoshop CS5.1.

Another thing, this is going to be a preview image of a short story literature submission I'm about to post. Let's see... About the bear: It's mine. I only just this evening (morning, actually) found out that it changes to rainbow colors in direct light. (I THINK) All this time I thought that it was just green and orange colored for no apparent reason.

I knew the peace sign had to be rainbow colored for SOME reason. What strikes me as odd though is that the bear didn't change colors until a few hours ago despite it being in direct light. Coincidentally, I had just started paying attention to it and actually HUGGING it this evening when I was upset about something I am not about to speak of right now.

The bear was obtained for me recently when I went into surgery last Thursday. The pillow it's sitting on was obtained the same way for the surgery I had in 2009. The hospital I go to for my surgeries lets people who go into surgery pick items from a big display case which I find very sweet. I'm not sure exactly why they do it or where they get the items from, but I still like the idea.
